Red Sea Reefer Series Aquariums
Adding the Random Flow Generator to your Red Sea Reefer series Aquarium is easy. All system in this series share the same 25mm inlet nozzle. This means any of our Pre-Configured Flow Kits that include a 25mm pipe adapter will fit the outlet of your aquarium.

Red Sea Reefer 525 and Smaller
Dual 1/2in Random Flow Generator® Nozzles
Optimal Flow: 640-670 GPH (or more)
For the Red Sea reefer 525 and below, we would suggest the dual 1/2in Random Flow Generator flow kit. This kit is best suited for the physical size of the tank as well as the typical return pump used in aquarium of this size.
Red Sea Reefer 525 and Larger
Dual 3/4in Random Flow Generator® Nozzles
Optimal Flow: 700-800 GPH (or more)
For the Red Sea reefer 525 and above, we would suggest the dual 3/4in Random Flow Generator flow kit. This kit is best suited for the physical size of the tank as well as the typical return pump used in aquarium of this size.

The Red Sea Reefer 170 has the same 25mm pipe inlet as it’s larger counterparts however, becuase of the small size, we would suggest a single 1/2in RFG or the dual 1/4in RFG setup.

Red Sea Reefer Gen 2
Most of the Red Sea Reefer Gen 2 series aquariums have two inlets, as opposed to a single like the Gen 1 series. Both of these outlets are the same 25mm pipe as is found on the single inlets of the Gen 1 series. This means you can use any of our pre-configured Red-Sea Reefer flow kits as well as a our single CADE flow kits that included 25 millimeter pipe adapter.

The Innovative Marine “reef ready” series both come stock with genuine 3/4in Loc-Line fitting. making hem ready to flow with the Random Flow Generator.
The only decision you need to make is what size RFG Nozzles to go with. the 3/4in RFG are directly compatible, while the 1/2in RFG will require a reducer.

Convert The Stock Outlets to 1/2in Loc-Line
1/2in Random flow Generators may be a better choice if your return pump is capable of 450 GPH or less. to do this, you will need a reducer and you may need some 1/2in Loc-line. Are are the parts you can use to do make this conversion.
