2in Random Flow Generator – RFG200
A Random Flow Generator
With No Moving Parts.
The internal structure of the RFG Nozzle is comprised of a 5-vane helix that spirals nearly the entire length of the nozzle.
Each vane of the helix is connected to an eductor at the base. Together, they form a set of internal channels.
The channels work to randomly direct the water in different directions as it exits the nozzle.
2 in. PVC Slip Fitting
The RFGS200 is designed to snugly fit on the end of standard 2 in. schedule 40 PVC pipe with an outer diameter of 2.375in (60.325mm). No glue and no re-plumbing – just slip it on.
Creates a random flow pattern in your Large Reef tank or Pond with no moving parts!
- Female Slip Fitting for standard 2in schedule 40 PVC pipe with an O.D. of 2.753in
- Easy to install – requires not tape or glue
- Printed in Reef-safe PETG plastic. See our FAQ’s

- PATENT PENDING DESIGN
The RFG Nozzle will handle far more flow than the "Optimal" GPH recommendations, so we encourage you to experiment and test the limits of the RFG Nozzles.

The Random Flow Generator® Nozzle
The Only Random Flow Device With No Moving Parts.
The unique patented internal design of the Random Flow Generator® by Vivid Creative Aquatics, leverages fluid dynamics to randomly alter the direction of the flow as it exits the nozzle.
This internal helix design, pulls the central jet in on of 5 possible direction, but in only one direction at a time. The result is a broad wave-maker like motion but with no moving parts to wear out, no noise and no addition heat generated.
The Random Flow Generator® or RFG Nozzle can help to create a more natural, randomized flow pattern within an aquarium, pond, or other bodies of water.
This Reandom Flow Generator Nozzle is desgined to snaps onto a genuine Loc-Line® modular hose fittings. No tool required.
